Unidos NorCal is the Northern California chapter of the Local Government Hispanic Network (LGHN)—a community committed to leadership development, representation, and professional excellence in local government.

When you join Unidos NorCal, you become part of a broader LGHN network and gain access to professional development, mentorship, and connection with peers who care deeply about public service and inclusive leadership.

Choose the membership type that fits you or your organization:

Organization (Jurisdiction or Agency) Membership

For cities, counties, special districts, or organizations that want all employees eligible to participate under one membership.

  • Small Jurisdiction/Organization (1–999 employees): $750/year 
  • Large Jurisdiction/Organization (1,000+ employees): $2,500/year  

Important note: Only the main contact person completes the organization application and payment. Organizations may also create an organization code so additional employees can join under the organization membership. 

Individual Membership

For professionals whose organization is not joining at this time.

  • Individual Membership: $175/year 

Student Membership

For students pursuing undergraduate/graduate education.

  • Student Membership: Free ($0)

Decide whether you are joining as:

  • An Organization (small or large), or
  • An Individual, or
  • A Student 

Step 2 — Complete the Online Application

Use the official LGHN Unidos NorCal membership application to submit your membership details and payment (for paid categories). Visit: Membership Application | Local Government Hispanic Network

Organization applicants: the main contact completes the application and payment. 

Step 3 — Add Colleagues (If Organization Membership)

If your organization wants employees to join under the agency membership, you may establish an organization code to share internally. 

Step 4 — Get Connected

After joining, you’ll start receiving updates on upcoming events, ways to get involved, and opportunities to serve and lead locally. 

Q: If my organization joins, do I still need to pay individually?
A: No. Typically, organization membership is intended to cover eligible employees under the organization membership structure. The organization application also references the use of an organization code for additional users. 

Q: Who should complete the organization application?
A: The main contact person for the organization completes the application and payment. 

Q: Can I join as an individual if my agency doesn’t join?
A: Yes—Individual membership ($175) is available if the jurisdiction/organization is not joining.
